I find the remoteness of the Orkney Islands to be part of the charm and the desire to come back time after time; over the years in differing and at times challenging weather conditions that are a constant challenge - the kind of photography I thrive on.

From the rugged coastline at Yesnaby, the Ring of Brodgar, the Old Man of Hoy to the Bay of Skaill and the Brough of Birsay, each and every location has it’s own unique challenges – all of which challenge the photographer in different way.
