Proper panoramas are defined by your own view. Mine just happens to be well practised & more original, (in my view) which is for me the best way. I prefer to not rely to much on digital imaging techniques. I've taken the time, money, effort to define my own way, so i can be bold enough to say what i say, even if it grates.
My results speak for themselves, my orginal pieces have massive long term impact, and can be proven to be so - so i'm happy with 'my life' thank you for asking.
Now i'm always willing to learn & take in alternative points of view, if i'm wrong then i'm to accept it - but when it appears to me digital techniques are being used more and more to cheapen my own efforts, sure i'm going to reel against it.
Some people agree, some do not, but thats life..

HDR - it's just not to my taste, and it is about personal vision at the end of the day. I just believe it's a passing fad, i have read about; but surely spending more time in the 'post' production rather than taking a more orginal picture would be best?. HDR is more about how you want your vision to appear, just not me.
I can be arrogant enough to make this overall statement; i've worked bloody hard at what i do, made umpteen sacrifices in my life (if you knew me personally then you would understand) i've even won awards and been recognised for the impact of the work i do. My acheivements bear me out.
I stand by my statement that the more orginal the picture the more unique the final result. I have nothing against digital processing, i just prefer to minimise the use.
